An excellent, well-built 1440p resolution QHD monitor. Easy & intuitive set-up, comprehensive control panels, and a sturdy three-axis stand. Beautifully fluid and smooth graphics, colours, and definition. Instant reactions, no lags, tears or blurs. Works well with a RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, clocks a genuine 350Hz refresh rate at 320fps+ with DP connectivity. There may be better monitors in this class, but they cost a lot more; there may be cheaper monitors, but their overall quality isn’t as good. The G6 G70F hits all of my quality, performance, and budget targets. This is The Way!

I've had many gaming monitors in the past, but this one is by far the best I ever had. The motion on the screen is perfect. No flicker on it. The brightness is perfect. The contrast is amazing. And its all uniform picture. And response time is the best.

I bought 2 Samsung 27" Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SD) Series monitors for his birthday back in December (spoiled kid, I know. Ha!) They are amazing monitors, perfect for gaming and general use. I'm actually a little envious of his set up. I would buy 2 for myself (I'm a dual monitor type of person) if I had the room for that kind of set up.

This monitor is a fantastic buy if you get it for the right price. The text clarity is a non issue if you use at least 125% scaling, and the colors and contrast are phenomenal. The included stand does well ergonomically, though I'd still recommend an arm. I appreciate that Samsung doesn't go glossy as not everyone games in a pitch black cave. The monitor handles glare well. OLED responsiveness is simply unmatched. Once you go OLED you can't go back.

I have this monitor and I have a ps5 and a gaming pc connected to it. My issue is that I have to manually switch the inputs even though this monitor is advertised as having the “auto switch +” feature where if I turn on my ps5 for example it’s suppose to switch on its own. Do I have to have my pc turned off for this to happen?

Absolutely abysmal support for this failure of a product. Had a stuck pixel within months of ownership and after about a year of use, the knob that controls the entire monitor broke off into pieces. Wish I had known about these issues before I decided to purchase. I will never purchase another monitor from Samsung again. Extremely disappointing given the confidence I had in this brand.

I purchased this monitor from a local computer store and was overall happy with its performance. The anti-glare coating is personal taste but for me, it helped with the glare from the window. This all went south, however when the stupid little joystick on the back of the monitor broke after just a couple months of use. Now as others have said, I didn't treat the thing roughly, I just used it every night to turn the monitor off. I was annoyed but figured I'd just have to live without the monitor for a couple weeks while it was repaired under warranty. To my shock, no, this is considered physical damage and not covered under warranty! So I'm leaving this review here (already left one on the store's website) to warn potential buyers and to amplify the other reviews I see. This is a real problem and there is no solution so buyer beware!

I had a G7 Qled from years back and it’s dying the sad death many of them have over the years. I purchased this, and it’s honestly fantastic. I feel as though the G7 handled sharpness of text and lines better, but the richness of color and extreme contrast make this the best display in my house. Fireworks almost feel real in HDR, neon colors seem to burst from the screen. If you were looking for a reason to buy it, this is it.

What an upgrade over my previous monitor! This beast of a screen looks amazing in everything from heavily modded Skyrim to Cyberpunk 2077 with all the HDR options enabled. It even works with GSync, a feature neither advertised nor confirmed by Nvidia but nonetheless true. The only downside is one dead pixel off towards the corner of the screen, something I didn't even notice until after a few hours of use and doesn't bother me enough to get support involved - but that's nowhere near enough to dock off a star from my rating. I'm going to be using this screen for as long as it'll work for me.

Would be the best 1440p qd OLED on the monitor if it weren't for the horrible firmware and lack of true HDMI 2.1 bandwidth. I decided to keep it because other monitors have drawbacks too, but I am left disappointed and will probably not get another Samsung monitor because they don't seem to care about this issue.

It has been about two and half weeks that I pulled the trigger. To begin with, I purchased this to replace a 100 hz VA monitor. This monitor did come with the updated version (December 2024). Is it really hdmi 2.1? Yes, it have an rtx 4090 and a 9800x3d. This monitor does not disappoint at all. The colors and the deep blacks are outstanding, to say the least. Playing newer games like: Oblivion remastered, Clair Obscure, MK1. The colors of my pictures will be a little different from the screen. After looking, the monitor colors are more vibrant. You can also make adjustments to your liking. The monitor settings are super easy to access. I love the fast refresh rate of 360 on this nonitor. haven't had any ghosting or dead pixels at all, and for the most part. I play in a medium to low light room, so the matte finish is great, not as great as shiny but the does the job very well. So if you're looking to upgrade to a better coloful looking panel, look no further this G60SD will blow you away. I sit about 3 feet away from my desk, and the hdr is really good, too. Just do not forget to enable it in Windows. With a 3 year burn-in warranty, I wouldn't be too worried, usually newer QD-OLED should last a lot longer at least 5 years. I went with a 1440p instead of 4K only because of personal preference, which, as a gamer, you know games that are 4k now are ok to run with a 4090/5090 now. lt may be harder to run 4 years from now with a 4090/5090 when the 7000 series release. In the meantime. have no rearets about my purchase, Also if you find the colors to have to much saturation, just use windows monitor calibration. Thank you Samasung

Screen adjustment: Found that plastic knob everyone is talking about. Used it extensively and it hasn't broken yet. Graphics: Got my card/monitor to 340htz and my jaw dropped at the result. All I can say is wow. Eye Strain: I have epilepsy (under control) with a light sensitivity. Before the eye strain option was on, ouch. After turned on, I felt a relax Conclusion: Amazing Graphics, Eye Strain at first, plastic back button was easy to use, but over all just a happy camper. For the price, this is an excellent deal.

I purchased this on February 28th and, as of April 7th, the OSD button cracked and can no longer be used to change settings on the monitor. I have used this button maybe 5 or 6 times total, never used pressure on it outside of normal operating pressure and it has not been moved, bumped or hit in any way to warrant this defective damage. This is a very common issue with these monitors and information regarding this defect can be found anywhere that this can be purchased or reviewed. Otherwise, the colors, HDR, resolution, response time and refresh rate are all phenomenal. I truly love this monitor but cannot in good faith rate it higher than one star for a defect that severely impacts regular usage of this monitor.

Great OLED monitor! Before I bought this I was uncertain if the silver bezel would bother me. It doesn't. Very thin, and minimal. The other thing that gets discussed is the somewhat "matte" finish. Again this hasn't been an issue. I have this in a fairly dim room. Display just has a clean, uniform, image. Bright, I turned down the brightness to my liking. Would have given it a 5 star if it included a usb-c port.

The monitor has a really nice picture and features. It works well with Nvidia G-Sync even though market towards "FreeSync". The only issue I have with monitor is the menu button became loose very easily. I was selecting start smart calibration when menu button was noticeably loose upon applying pressure to engage button. Warranty doesn't cover physical damage even though I simply was pressing button as I often have to start smart calibration.

Perfection is a strong word, but we are so close to achieving it it hurts. Samsung QD-OLED is a dream come true. Wish software had more settings and options to tweak, and also i do not understand why there are so many picture profiles that are literally unusable. That said, ECO and GRAPHIC tuned nicely from the start. Thanks Samsung Display, a true genius of display panel tech.

The monitor itself is very nice (looks great and is very responsive). However, as others have experienced, The tiny "joystick" menu button is horrible. I have had this monitor less than a month and the "joystick" to control menu has broken on me as I was pushing it to the side to change inputs and it just simply crumbled and fell off. Everything else about the monitor is premium, which is why it is baffling that they decided to make the button that gets the most use with such cheap materials. They need to abandon this terrible design choice in the future and just use normal push buttons or provide a remote for this "premium" monitor.

I bought this monitor about 3 weeks ago and there wasn't a 360hz mode. I then went to my AMD adrenaline software to create a custom resolution of 2560x1440 360hz, but I couldn't go past 200hz. I went into device manager to see if it was connected, but it showed that HDMI 360hz was not connected. I went to get another HDMI 2.1 cable, but the same problem still occurred. I also emailed AMD about the situation, but it wasn't the GPU. Now I am just stuck at 200hz.

Been using this monitor since it launched and I'm impressed by its quality and HDR handling. Colors are punchy, but there are some issues regarding the OSD settings, as its standard color mode when in HDR makes everything seem blueish. It also has the problem that the EDID always shows a peak brightness of 400nits no matter if peak brightness is at medium or high.

I received this monitor on July 16th 2024. I have been using it for a few hours and the picture quality is great. I'm giving this 2 stars for 2 reasons: 1: The screen continually auto adjusts itself shifting the screen either too far left or too far to the right. Sometimes it shifts so far that my taskbar gets cut off the screen. Which brings me to issue 2 2:The main setting to adjust the screen is greyed out and says this option is unavailable. There is no way to stop it from auto adjusting either. Support has not been able to resolve this remotely and their suggestion is to send it in for repair. It's a day old! I will surely be returning this.

Not even a month into owning this monitor and the monitors stick to control menu has broken on me. Now I am only able to click the button in, but no longer go up/down/left/right. I can't believe how easily it broke, as I have been gentle with it considering this is my first high end monitor. According to their warranty this isn't covered as it's considered a crack/dent. You better hope that if that flimsy piece of plastic that controls the power on/off and menu controls of you monitor not to break. They want you to pay them to have it fix. This is horrible. I am will no longer be able to adjust settings of my monitor cause of bad quality control.

Upgrading from an old IPS 144hz monitor that i bought back in 2018. This monitor is so good, I had to buy two of them. However there are some downsides to the I.O. The USB hub doesn't seem powerful enough to power my webcam when connected, it keeps connecting and disconnecting. Also the lack a USB type C connector in the back. Other than that, I have no major complaints. I thought I wouldn't like the metal design, but the moment I put my hands on it I knew it was quality. And then the size of the panel is not to be understated. It's very thin, and very sleek. It feels elegant, also it's a gaming monitor that doesn't scream "gaming monitor". It has RGB lights on the back, but it's really good for ambient backlighting if you're near a wall. Very great product. You can't beat a 3 year warranty either.

This is an excellent monitor. The construction and base quality are top notch. The unit looks much better in person than in photos. The screen being a Samsung OLED is naturally beautiful. I have been waiting for an affordable 27" OLED monitor for some time now. Once I saw that Samsung was releasing the G60SD I could not wait for it to be released. The specs on this monitor are very good to say the least. Although not G-Sync certified G-Sync does appear to be working fine. The warranty is 3 years...the review that says it isn't probably should be deleted. People really need to learn to review a product instead of maliciously giving it the lowest score you can because of some technicality. I have taken various precautions to safeguard my monitor despite the warranty. I have rotating desktop backgrounds, app icons on a different monitor and have changed settings for some applications I use and more. I need to look into calibration options since my data color products don't work on this monitor. At this time with a few weeks of use I would highly recommend the monitor. I've tried a couple of IPS monitors in the past and ultimately ended up returning them...just can't stand some of the issues with the technology. I've also become use to OLED televisions and the blacks they can produce. Until a better technology comes OLED will be it for me!

I just got mine today, after letting it warm up and adjusting some settings, this monitor is fantastic! I've used IPS most of my adult life so it took some time to adjust to the OLED panel. especially the contrasts. But after that, we are rock solid! I registered mine with Samsung today and noticed that the warranty does indeed say 36 months! So they have fixed that issue as described by another reviewer.
